NONFERROUS METALCAST SDN BHD was incorporated in the year 31 st October 1983. It started its humble operation from a small rented semi-permanent premises with a handful of workers.
The company commenced operations with the manufacturing of a small range of aluminium alloy conduit fittings using hand-poured molds under the NMC brand. Through hard work and perseverance and with emphasis on the production of quality
products the general market begins to trust the NMC brand. Demand for the NMC brand conduit fittings increased greatly, and to cope with the increasing demand, new manually operated die-cast machines were installed. With the installation of the new machines, the product range was increased and the quality of the products manufactured were further improved. Quality control department were set up and together with the R&D sections, more stringent checks were introduced to ensure that the quality were always maintained and improved.
Later whole new sections were set up to produce lightning protection systems for structures. Similar to the NMC brand conduit fittings, the NMC brand lightning protection system for structures is well received in the market.
In the year 1992, due to the ever increasing demand for the NMC brand products and to further improved our products, a new permanent much bigger factory was constructed. With the opening of the new factory premise covering a build-up area of more than 65,000 sq. ft and a land area of 100,000 sq. ft the company embark on an expansion drive. Our products are exported to Singapore and the Middle East and from there they were later re-exported to various ASEAN countries and Africa.
To further upgrade our manufacturing process and improve the quality of our products, we invested heavily into installation of automatic die-casting machines and fully automatic finishing works tapping machines. Through continuous effort to upgrade and improve our work processes and quality we were deservedly rewarded with various awards and achievements. Our products are awarded with the Suruhanjaya Tenaga Certification, SIRIM Product Certification, JKR (Public Works Department) Product Certification and the ISO 9001:2015 Certification. The TUV SUD Asia Pacific has tested and certified that our aluminium alloy conduit fittings fulfill all the requirements of the IEC 61386-1 (Class 4). End users of the NMC brand of the aluminium alloy conduit fittings can be assured of quality products meeting international standards.
Our turnover has steadily increased to more than RM 12.0 millions per annum and today we are the country market leader in aluminium conduit fittings. In recognition of our quality products and manufacturing processes, MK Electric Co, a Honeywell Inc. USA company, engaged us to be their OEM for aluminium alloy conduit fittings. At the same time we are the OEM for aluminium alloy conduit fittings from other companies from the ASEAN region.
